by slightly modifying the keyboard functions program made by martin gomez (an adaption of Color Typewriter by john maeda), i was able to make an alphabet-to-color compiler capable of processing .txt files, turning each character within them to a pixel. this effectively takes what was the human element in collaboration (typing) out of the previous versions. The images below are compilations of selected journal entries over a 3 year period using different color gamuts. in this way, i am able to present something very personal as both vulnerable and protected.
